Connect for Health Colorado (C4HCO) is the state's official health insurance marketplace, connecting Coloradans to affordable, quality coverage during Open Enrollment and beyond. In partnership with the Division of Insurance and other state agencies, C4HCO works to expand access to individual marketplace plans statewide.

GHG's Role

For more than a decade, GHG has partnered with Connect for Health Colorado, beginning with community outreach and engagement focused on reaching Black and Hispanic Coloradans during Open Enrollment. That groundwork helped lay the foundation for C4HCO's internal outreach team, allowing the organization to bring that work in-house. Since 2023, GHG's role has evolved alongside that transition — expanding into earned media strategy, content development, integrated marketing campaigns, and messaging platform audits that now represent the core of the partnership.

Cumulative Partnership Impact

Since expanding into earned media and communications strategy in 2023, GHG has generated more than 200 million cumulative media impressions for Connect for Health Colorado — spanning television, print, digital and radio coverage. That momentum builds on more than a decade of community outreach work that helped establish C4HCO's presence in Black, Hispanic and other historically underrepresented communities across Colorado, groundwork that now anchors the organization's own in-house outreach team.
