Gerri Gomez Howard

Gerri is the chief executive officer and founder of the Gomez Howard Group. Gerri has more than two decades of experience in broadcast media focusing on community relations, cause marketing, and multi-platform media campaigns. In her role as manager of community affairs and later as a cause marketing business development specialist at KCNC-TV, a CBS-owned and operated station in Denver, Gerri increased the visibility of important social issues through sponsor-supported advertising campaigns. She was recognized with a regional Emmy award for the “Making the Grade” education campaign and was nominated for a regional Emmy award as executive producer for the public affairs program, “Mosaic.” Gerri has served on advisory boards or commissions for the Colorado Governor's Early Childhood Leadership Commission, the Hope Center, and the Women's Foundation of Colorado. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a historically Black sorority, and of the Colorado Association of Black Journalists.
